Drink to Rainbows

Castro, Chiloe

Drink to rainbows, as the sun it goes,
Between the clouds and the pouring rain,
Drink to rainbows as they come and go,
Across the bay and beyond the hills.
Drink to rainbows till the day is done,
As they continue their fall and rise,

A hundred million rainbows flashing,
Across the sky in tangents falling,
For the world is silent as its ending,
Between my thoughts the wine is filling,
Oh drink to rainbows as the sun is falling,
Across the waters the world is ending.

At World's End

To my left as I sat,
There behind the hills I saw her burn,
Her energy flying through the sky,
And to my right behind the smoke screen,
I saw snow cover her naked body,
Abound she was, in silent battle,
The colours changed like the tides of war,
And as the evening drew to a close,
The night it engulfed both away from my vision,
As I sat in possession of all,
Now I sat having lost all,
Only for the stars to awake and shine on down,
For them to judge the battle fought,
A new day to rise when she will return,
As the sun she will give life to her body,
The day is done, the night has come
And till I sleep, I will think of her.

Riga

No! I will not be back tonight!
I heard a call, I have to go,
Across the narrow sea, I must go
There, above the hills, across the plains.

For the sake of humanity, I must go
To save that soul, I promised I would
A house as home, I sure must find
In a land I'll love, upon my sight.

Now the songs I sing are of the happy sort
The chorus i hear through trees & breeze,
The wave of life knows no calm,
On this sea of trust and love, I must thrive.

With a book and pen, in black I dress
My hair is wet for the clouds did break
Upon my brow, my thoughts do rest
And from my neck, my talisman does hang.

The time to go, I know is now
And on my return, all would be new
But of those times, i shall not think
For now this call is stronger than all.

Out the door, I take my step,
The night is quiet, quaint and dark
I turn to look, there are none,
And now i know the time has come.

Convergence

Some say dreams are just for dreamers,
Others say dreams are visions,
Some say dreams are for the weak to believe,
Other say dreams are there to be lived.

Dreams, they do turn to reality,
But all dreams are not real,
But some are, and you know,
You wake up, and you know.

If dreams speak, and you listen,
Then when you act, there must be purpose,
Silence and ignorance are of no power,
Power is friends with action and courage.

When the words of your thoughts speak,
Listen, for they show you the way,
Don’t poison them, let them live, in freedom,
Just like you should live, in freedom.

Break the shackles bestowed on you,
Walk, ride, love, speak and discover,
For there is a world around you, a world within you,
And each waits for you to go deeper and deeper.

Step between both worlds, love and cherish each,
So different, yet the beauty lies equal,
Stunning is as nature and inner peace converge.
As a new belief is born, laws change, life changes.

In that belief one lives like one has never lived,
Solitude is understated my friend,
Darkness is the most beautiful light,
And life is all there is, and all one wants.

Everlasting and Eternal.

Tallinn

Oleviste Kirik

The sun shines straight above,
In perfect symmetry she stands below,
In conversations of love they seem to be,
The news of the world's, in silence exchanged.

Up from the spire and down by the rays,
Such is the beauty that lays cover over Tallinn,
As nature speaks, i am powerless to listen,
The sea, i can hear call for conversation,

While this conversation I forsee stupefies me,
Together, yet separate, as one they speak,
The sun, sea and rising spire,
All together as lovers do exist.

Coliseum

Never again in need of conversation,
Empty spaces everywhere abound,
Creating my space as chaos presides,
The world I wish for my eyes create.

Alone I sit, my eyes skyward,
The coliseum empties,
Music begins to flow,
Covers the arches and the pit.
Round and round the eagles begin to circle,
Faster and faster the clouds begin to darken,
A blazing arrow flies across the sky,
The sun sets and the fire is lit,
The gladiators to battle through the night.
Now those fickle Romans trickle in,
The music replaced by voices of emotion,
The emperor enters and silence falls.
Round and round the vultures begin to circle,
Faster and faster I can feel each heart beat.
The gate opens and the gladiator enters,
Walks across to the center.
As each eye turns to him,
He turns to the emperor,
His eyes to the gods above.
I see him whisper,
Athena give me power.
Ah that Greek general it is,
Treachery rides it's high wave,
The roman realm condemned to darkness,
The beast raring to be let loose.
All stands still,
The darkness in man comes to light,
His sadness his plight,
I stare into the stars,
And whisper,
Athena give to him your power.

Street of Dreams

The street of dreams,
Night filled with light,
Alleys lead to doorways,
The lark issues her call, as,
Footsteps break the silence.

Men visit with their visions,
Alive with a hope,
With their will, they go forth,
To empty doorways that lie astray,
On promises of a foreign land.

On the wings of tomorrow,
And the wishes of today,
Alcohol and drugs might make you mine,
The silent prayers go unanswered,
While the priestess sits in solitude.

The desert wind kicks up at night,
The street fills with desert sand,
Stars scatter across the sky,
Motions slow, the cold descends,
Silent, the night slips away.

Unbecoming is man,
In hope he stays,
The street of dreams,
A street of hope,
A street to far.

Most fail to reach the door,
Fall astray on whims of chance,
Or slayed by their evil paths,
Together and forever they wish they were,
But fall they do as most must do

Onslaught

The tribe as whole stands as one,
And in silence they wait,
The hill rises yonder,
And he waits to ponder,
Darkness must descend.

The omens all pure,
The eagles fly,
The sun kissing our luck,
And the priests call for war,
but patience is never mastered.

Lay steady,
The horses kept quiet,
Battle will surely commence,
The time is not right,
Soon it shall turn,

As he turns,
All nine commander turn to him,
And he gazes into their eyes,
Fear rides nowhere,
For there is just one vision.

Oliver knows the dragon lair,
He awaits them to lie asleep,
He needs a few brave men,
The army must wait,
For this is only for a few.

Fire bearers always fear,
Oliver knows no fear,
The sea of thorns far behind,
The kingdom of his distant,
The lair of the dragons yonder.

Darkness falls,
And the onward march begins,
Slow,
And shallow,
Unsheating thier swords,

They move,
Queit,
And hollow,
Into the marks of earth,
Deep into the dragons lair.

Into formation,
A steady gallop,
Further upon the lair,
The dragons know
The dragons lay awake.

Oliver stunned,
He needs to fly,
So turns on his neighing horse.
Flee!! Retreat!! The Command!!
Scatter!! Run!! Danger Danger!!

Back to the hills,
The dragons fly,
Fire rages across the hills,
Fear riders all across,
Burning bright the countryside alight.

Many die,
The dragons fearless.
Oliver, Melanthius,
Lie as if in stone,
Hidden in a cave.

Smoke rises from the lake,
The water burning,
Dragons breathing fire,
Most stunned to stone,
This war has just begun.

Etna

"To the elements it came from
Everything will return.
Our bodies to earth,
Our blood to water,
Heat to fire,
Breath to air"

I

It mattered not how Etna burned,
Or how great lives were lost,
All have called for an afterlife,
Or a life of worth.

And from where we start we end,
From the awakening to finite silence,
Roads are trod, castles are built,
Bridges are burnt, and empires conquered.

Each one lives a life that is known to them,
In revelry or pride, or nothingness,
And all judge, and watch and speak,
That the lives of others are no good.

Life, we value life,
And yet thousands die in battle,
Millions sometimes, and life,
Then what is it valued as?

The greatest minds could have perished,
Or been tormented into living hell,
While the wasted simply watched,
Unknowing, and unbecoming.

Ambition, one may call it,
Is a double edged sword.
And who knows how to curb it,
The mind of a madman stays in thirst.

A great life perished at Etna,
A great warrior died of a nosebleed,
Pindarus took a great life on misperception,
So this is the world that has now become.

II

Structure, structure,
All consuming, all convincing,
Joining these structures,
Fleeing these structures.

Structures built to consume all,
And all want you to conform,
This might not be spoken of,
But Confirmation is acceptance.

To walk the long roads alone,
One must be brave,
To burn ones bridges one must be brave,
And bravery stems from you inner soul.

Money and Power all so glorious,
All so convincing,
As if the be all and end all,
But its the start of a slow death.

III

One to another,
And from there to the next.
Hear the voices,
They are calling,
They want you to join,
And if you run,
How far will you run?
Till your passion runs dry,
And one of the structures,
Falls on you,
And takes you in,
Time passes,
And life passes,
Awake another day,
Another life,
Another person,
And you think,
“What have i done”?
And you realise,
Tiss all a game.
And most play the same game,
Run, ride your waves,
Build your thoughts,
And when structures come,
Slay them,
Not all battles are won,
But fight till the last dying breath.
Or else give in today,
And be done.
We come from nothing,
Go to nothing,
Make what you can of what you have.

Mother

Silence, said mother, Silence.
And I said silence, silence.
Live our lives in Silence,
For we mustn’t wake the dragon.

The skeletons must disappear,
Before the closet is opened,
The mirror lies,
And so do your eyes.

Silence, said mother, Silence,
And I said silence, silence,
Live our lives in Silence
Mustn’t wake the ghost we burned,

Stray not from the lives prophesied,
For what you must do is all written here,
The scroll I hold, mother said,
And all you must do is written on it.

Fear not, son, pray and believe,
Follow what is told,
Love who I tell you to,
Live the way I tell you too.

All you wish will come,
Life is long,
Love will be found,
Its understanding you need, love burns fast.

Silence, said mother, Silence.
And I said silence, silence.
Live our lives in Silence,
Don’t anger the gods who gave you this.

I´ll guide you, And love you, and live with you.
We all will help you, we all love you.
And you can do all you wish,
Life is long and you will have all the time you wish.

True, I thought,
True life is long,
Love I must find,
I´ll find all I must.

Look there now,
Look here now,
My friends disappear,
Silence, Silence, Absolute Silence.

Death, Marriage, Society,
All disappear in such silence,
The stars they stare down at me,
And I look up.

Silence, said mother, Silence.
And I said silence, silence.
Live our lives in Silence,
The echo it rings through me.

Stars trail me,
Cities and countries embrace me,
Black shirt, blue jeans,
Boots and coat,

The snow melts on my brow,
Kisses ring through my morning sunlight,
Oh my love, kiss me now before I go,
Silence silence, break my silence.

Walk and walk, away and awake,
Darkness falls, silence, silence,
Now I want silence,
Hear the water flow.

Speak to me,
The trees speak,
The wind sings,
The stars dance.

I caught magic in my fist,
Life in my heart,
The ways of swords in my mind,
Nature in my soul.

And that distant call transits,
Silence, said mother, Silence.
And I said silence, silence.
Live our lives in Silence,

Now it breaks,
Freewill, unshackled,
Stony walls descend,
The seas rise.

Szeged-Tisza

Cross across these empty plains,
Cross across these deserted streets,
Cross over the static waters of the Tisza,
Onto the plains where warriors rode.

And the Tisza it disappears,
For it is dark and lights fade,
But in that very darkness,
I can feel history lie.

And so I walk into that darkness,
As I listen, nature sings to me,
For I know I am surely alone,
And I continue crossing over openness.

And my thoughts fly away from me,
For freedom is all around me,
And to my land it moves fast,
For it is hard, in strife it lies.

Today or tomorrow this must change,
But how much more pain can they stand,
And for how long will they watch this,
These are question, I live in hope of answers.

And i can think of my loved one,
And alone left in my land she is,
A bridge to her must be being built,
For she must be delivered to a life she deserves.

And now I sit and ponder my next steps.
And the next towns for which I will feel,
The next moment which will stupefy me,
And leave me in awe of life.

Simply live each day,
And await the next,
For each brings something,
It’s the time to grow and rise.

I wish each of you the best,
And a world towards purity,
A change towards peace and love,
A change towards progress and happiness.

And I know each can change,
But thoughts must change,
And they can only change,
Once the tools of change are given so.

I can light a million matches,
But none might start a fire,
And so for a fire to start,
We must each light a million matches.

And a fire will surely start,
And from that fire we will see purity rise,
And a new race will be born,
Where respect and transparency shall rule.

Ill leave to go to the next,
For each town gives me that little bit more,
And that little extra which I use,
With which I need to rise.

But this night’s air is sharp,
And nature begins to penetrate me,
These sounds echo through my mind,
And my body is gripped in cold,

The trees sway faster,
And I can hear ancient stories being told,
And legends being repeated,
I am a man trapped in nature’s wreath.

But I must learn all I can,
And then return to this life I live,
Learn and spread all I wish,
And kiss the Tisza before the dawn.

From the banks of the Tisza,
From the city where the huns ruled,
From my heart to you,
Till we meet next,

Viszlat

Inspiration

It’s inspiration, right?
I mean look around you,
It’s that inspiration that takes you further,
It’s what makes you fly,
When days are dark,
It draws upon your strength to lift you,
It makes you cross each and every hurdle,
And it’s simple,
It lies passive all around,
And comes to life all the time,

It’s that faceless face ahead of you,
On the rising sun,
Or on that very setting sun,
In the next drink you drink,
Or the next corner,
Or move you make,
Or that image you see.
It’s there,
All around,
You don’t even need to look,
Open your eyes & it will find you,

It will be your elixir,
The one that makes you work magic,
The one that takes you to the next level,
The one that fulfills your wishes,
It turns dreams to reality,
Go now and be sought by it,
Just as I have, and so many more.

Ogrodzieniec

The gates were shut,
Silence surrounded us,
And we looked at one another,
And we knew we must,
For this was just once,
The gate wasn’t high enough,
And so we jumped it.
And beyond it,
My imagination failed me,
My visions, they failed me,
For what I perceived,
Could not be real,
And it was real,
But it could not be real.
For it was stunning,
But stunning justifies it not,
And it was mystical,
And it was magical,
And it grew on me,
And the walls they rose,
And the rocks they rose,
The fog and mist, I knew not,
But it mixed in the atmosphere,
And the atmosphere mixed in my breath,
So I walked on,
And I knew not where,
But there were faint shadows calling,
And when shadows call I answer,
And each step revealed the magic to behold,
And the magic was a castle,
One which was alone,
One which was concealed from all,
Forbidden to the human eye,
And forbidden to the human mind.
And so we walked on, to discover its soul,
The faint light cast across the snow,
As I saw the rocks flowed into walls,
The tower rose,
The defence walls surrounded us.
And I was stunned,
For I could see it yet not believe it,
For magic or myth can’t create this either,
And in that moment,
Life was transformed,
My thoughts were redefined,
But much to my amazement,
The castle really stood,
Shut to the world but it stood,
And its energies were so pure,
Untouched, and I made love with it,
For it lay still yet alive,
Beauty was not what it was,
And nature it was not,
Much rather a touch of magic,
And this night will live forever,
And as I jumped back over the gate,
I knew I was leaving,
And it pained,
But I had to,
For so much more lay astray,
And so I did,
As I am young,
And ready to live,
And if each one, will see the same,
Lives will transform,
And beauty and life will redefine.
Ogrodzieniec, you were unreal,
Stay unreal,
For you can transform each one,
Each one who has real thoughts,
For purity is the one,
That can truly captivate the pure,
And you have it all,
And I beg you not lose it.
I will return,
For you to quench my thirst,
For the air it fills my heart and soul,
With the magic I desire.
And as I lay myself to rest,
I can’t fathom the power which you possess.

India

I

I sit alone,
In a café in Poznań,
Alone I sit,
with my thoughts alone.
If I write against my country,
I will be called young, inexperienced.
And in this inexperience I yet know,
That the case of my state is a dire one.

And now you read this,
And you think, I know you will,
But then why don’t you act?
For so many wait for someone too.

And the government is in ruins,
The opposition is in ruins,
Our cities are in ruins,
And the life lived is in ruins.

And we pay with all we have,
And we are given nothing for it,
The time for change is long gone,
But let’s act tonight to begin with.

And when im asked why did you leave?
All I can think of is why do you stay?
This country is our country,
And when you look at it, what do you see?

Are you proud of what has become?
Are you satisfied with this life you live?
If you are rich and happy then look around you,
Look at what has become of the rest.

And if you are rich you should care,
Open your eyes and plead for a change,
The tools lie around you.
And in anxiety so many wait.

But since satisfied you are,
you much rather sleep,
And curse the government,
public and taxes.

I would beg for you,
To cause a stir,
To bring development,
Knowledge and thought.

Without the mind being in motion,
The life lived, whichever one, is a waste,
Thoughts will breed actions,
And consciously we must strive together.

I would give all I have,
Time, money, my mind, my life.
For India to start a transformation,
But there needs to be light.

And we must illuminate this dark tunnel,
And bring this light to our people,
And awake each day with a foremost pledge,
One which urges each one to strive for a real state.

II

 But I am young,
And hence I must be inexperienced,
And my type want the same,
And each person who has struggled,
Wants the same.
And I have spoken to thousands of them.
But we are young,
And we must be inexperienced.
For its only our hearts, minds, eyes & soul that speak.
But we are young,
And inexperience must breed such emotion.

However if these words,
Yes these words,
Can cause a stir, and awaken a few,
For a cause to stir, then I will be on call.
And each one of those whom I know will be too,
And we will gather,
To fight for a better India.

And now I’ll leave,
To gain more experience,
To either understand the chaos which presides,
Or to hear word that a change is now brewing,
Or from you, to beckon a change together.

For the world is small,
And a change can come,
For what is truly wanted,
Can in unison always be delivered.

Crystal Ball

Gazing through the crystal ball,
Time passes on me as I wait for an answer,
For it is the need of thy hour,
Concentration begins to fail me,
but gathering power from all the sources possible,
I continue on.

Blue light begins to flash through the innermost layers.
Trying to decipher the message,
I race it through my mind,
And save it to memory.
The correct path yet fails me
For the occult I have not mastered yet.

As I withdraw my gaze I feel the gaze of the entire room fall on me.
Forcing myself to avert their gaze
I stand foretelling their future of which I am in doubt myself.
Without questioning, they accept the results and file out.
Walking straight upto the king I tell him a blood ritual is needed
as my thoughts leave me in want of a higher power.

Anatolia

                    "Dotted like fireflies, they illuminate"
The Anatolin side of Istanbul, Turkey

Every time I cross to the Anatolian side,
The lights, they conquer me,
Dotted like fireflies, they illuminate,
And the houses seem,
Stunned as if into silence.

But they survive, and the bank so stunning.
And as they sleep in hills, evergreen,
The houses glow, much like lit matches,
That awaken on the setting sun,
And sleep on the setting moon.

Caught in this moment I am,
Is this it, or is life evermore?
So much to see, so much to learn,
But beauty lies here, in its alcoves,
Ever-present, yet hidden from the naked eye.

Away from the human heart,
Yet understanding, yet distant,
And as we move from city to city,
From life to life, the beauty of each,
So contrasting yet so alive.
Turkey, here in amazement I live,
For it all merges, like a blacksmith forging metal,
Beautiful as it can be,
And in it I´ll live, live a life of worth.

For its people are true,
And they think and ponder,
Passion burns ever bright here,
And this is a virtue in this life we live.

And as I bridge continents,
The Bosphorus kisses each shore,
And as I alight the calm engulfs me,
Compelling as it is, rest no longer I wish.

Szeged

Szeged* stands in the southern country,
And its stunningly beautiful,
A peace sets all around,
And its churches are compelling.

For history lies in this ground,
As thousands have walked here,
Died and have been reborn,
From the barbarians to WWI.
As I search to sleep within its wall.
I shall walk alone,
And feel the cold December air,
Pierce through my face.
To so the banks I walked,
And waked those sleeping doves,
For in stone they lay camouflaged,
And then to stone I turned.

Retraced I have to,
The squares and the chuches,
To reminiscence with the dead,
And speak to those silent.

For times like these are few,
And as I gaze across and over the Tisza,
I stare into that blank, black openness,
I hear voices, I must leave.

Szeged* is the third largest city in Hungary

Battlesword

In the shallow depths of my soul
Sinking through the sands of time
My mind in ultimate strife,
On strike my thoughts are
As if paralysed I sit here,
Spread across the sands,
The ocean kissing my war torn feet
As if in acquired motivation I rise
To kneel again
Prostrate myself, Neptune I call
Wash over me, carry me
Deliver me to a land unknown,
Across the seven seas I am summoned.
Across the seven seas I will fight
The thoughts shall resume
My soul shall fly, spirits rise.
I can see you cry
Love, passion bursting through these veins age
Through the alien paths I walk
As if forced, as if in compulsion
Freedom embrace me
Consumed by your aura I lay down my battlesword,
Kneel till you rise with me.

Pieskowa Skała

Sands of time,
Centuries pass by,
And yet these castles stand,
Merged into rock,
A seamless forge,
The colours flow,
The rocks they stand,
The castles they stand.

I walk across this open square,
Coated with snow these benches are,
Below the parapet has a garden grown,
And across, a forest rises on
And as the trees bid their evening in,
For they have stood, lived & watched,
As a castle lived, a countless lives.

The snow it melts,
And the sun it sets,
The castle it stands,
And now time it stops,
My breath I hold,
For time has paused,
In motion all lies suspended.

The lives which kissed these stony walls,
Must have watched as nature moved
For nature it moves in time it creates,
And nature it calls when time permits,
But here the life, is in love and stillness,
For beauty and purity both breed life,
Pieskowa Skała has stunned my soul,
And to the next now I must go.

Warsaw

                                 Plac Konstytucji

Subway trams, hustle-bustle of the square,
Plac Konstytucji at the break of dawn,
And this morning so calm,
Like a dealer of patience,
At a breaking-dawn of madness.

And the lives roll on, and mine I have paused.
So where are we at? As alcohol consumes my mind,
The sky darkens, rain clouds and winter, call.
But life, it rolls on, and on,
Only in increased dimensions.

Olsztyn

Tonight even pictures betray me,
This fading ink dried by cold betrays me,
I can hear dogs bark in the distance,
And life might have betrayed me,

For tonight nature betrays all,
But betrayal is surely not ill,
If it leads to an hallowed path,
And this is what is worth living for,
This is the other dimension I recall,
This is indeed it.

At Olsztyn* the valleys flow,
The hill it rises,
And where stone ends, the wall starts,
Such, that one cannot perceive.
For in the clearing,
Between rock and structures lies a void
Almost black, almost hollow,
Almost inspiration enough to leap through,

To another life, a portal and it beckons,
Such stillness engulfs the night air,
And my breath, it turns to ice,
My fingers numb, the snow freezes over my feet,
And I stare into this star clad sky.
The moon is full, and yet powerless,
For a million stars have conquered this sky.

While, between rocks and walls,
Shadows they quarrel in the only motion.
As I stay stuck while this 14th century castle,
Spreads its aura around me,
As the beautiful chains of nature,
Bind me to the remains of this unreal castle,
I turn to leave but my feet and heart,
Have forged themselves into this castles air,
And a prisoner of this night I shall remain.

*Olsztyn - is a city in Poland

Serpents Entangle

Surrounded by aqua I am,
And in this stunned silence,

I can hear chants,
Chants of women,
Women from a land far away.
And I walk from pillar to pillar,
And the water circles below,

I can feel pure peace,
And in its aura I stand.
As if this is it, all that there is.
A million people move,
Beside me, Across me,
They move,
As I stand, I’m turned to stone.
By the shut eyes of this girl.
Only her head stares into me,
And yet inverted it lays,
And yet, emotion it emits,
Even in death beauty it casts,
Submitted it did, like a life giver.
And I stay, struck down to my knees,
These people move on,
And on and on,
Just a glance they cast,
But it’s this emotion I live for,
All entranced, all enchanting,
And intoxicatingly still,
Yet emotionlessly powerful,
A true power, a force,
And as I feel it, I know it,
And touches my soul it does.
As I sink lower, kissing this wet stone,
I know I must go,
For on and on I must go,
Till I chance upon gold once more,
And then again ill lie,
Consumed and stung,
With this poison of the past,
Of emotion and purity,
Gushing through me,
Awakening my soul,
Feeding my hunger,
Quenching my thirst,
And taking me further,
Down the road of an afterlife,
Or a life once lived,
And I can’t wait for the next,
But I must wait,
For a great life awaits,
And in this patience,
My passion burns,
As anxiety, it slays me.
